About This Program

Our Shedders program is an outdoor-only holiday program that keeps children active, curious, and connected to nature. Through daily adventures across Hong Kong, play, and exploration, children build confidence, independence, and a love for the outdoors.

    Forest Trails & Wildlife Discovery
    Shedders explore Lung Fu Shan's forest trails and creeks, spotting the season's first falling leaves and discovering the diverse habitats along the way.

    Children explore the question: What can I discover in the stream?

    Scramble the Streams, Climb the Rocks
    Shedders scramble along Sir Cecil's Ride, navigating stream paths and climbing over rocky terrain to reach elevated viewpoints.

    Children explore the question: What lives in the reservoir?

    Into the Reservoirs: A Nature Expedition
    Shedders hike through Aberdeen Country Park to the upper and lower reservoirs, watching for migrating birds and observing how natural and man-made environments coexist.

    Children explore the question: What treasures wash up on the shore?

    Shoreline Discoveries: Sand, Sea & Treasures
    Shedders spend the afternoon at Shek O collecting natural treasures, building in the sand, and discovering the rock pools along the shoreline.

A few helpful things to know before enrolling your child with The Shed.

Unaccompanied Program

Children participate independently, supported throughout the day by our experienced Shed mentors.

English-Instructed Program

Sessions are conducted in English, so children should have a basic understanding of English to comfortably follow instructions and participate in activities.
