Christmas is about giving, not just tangible gifts, but gifts of time and love. It is easy for children to be more focused on what they want to get rather than what they can give. During this week, we reflect on the importance of giving. We learn about sharing with others and will discuss the importance of giving back to our community and our loved ones. This week we will be our question will be “Who and how can I give to in my community?” We will finish the week off by giving back to our community by spending time with those in need in our community. We will meet them at the park and share the gift that we have prepared for them. After all, Christmas is not as much about opening our presents, as it is about opening our hearts and sharing with those who may need it the most.
