Crafty Creators: Candy Dispenser Edition!
This hands-on program is all about developing manipulative skills through the use of simple woodworking tools and equipment. Over the course of several engaging sessions, children will embark on a creative journey, learning how to manufacture and personalise their very own candy dispensers. From designing and measuring to cutting and assembling, our mentors will guide young minds through each step, fostering their problem-solving abilities and encouraging their artistic flair. This course is the perfect blend of fun and education, providing children with a fantastic opportunity to explore their creativity while honing their fine motor skills and craftsmanship.

Shedders ae introduced to The Shed’s Agreements and Safety Rules. Shedders are introduce to the concept of work and force, and Simple Machines.

Shedders learn about force and work. How wedges, screws, incline planes work and how tools make work easier.

Shedders learn about cutting material and understand friction.

Learn how to use a drill to cut circles.

Shedders learn about Measuring, rules, and how to easure and use different types of tools to measure.

Shedders start to put finishing touches on all the wood they cut. They learn to use different tools to accomplish a finished look. They learn about design as they complete their Candy Machines.
