Shedding Our Light:
1-Day Family Meal Service
Program Overview
We’re opening a very special 1-day service program at the More Good Foundation—created for families who want to give back together.
Join us for a hands-on session where one parent and one child (ages 8+) work side-by-side to cook and prepare over 300 nutritious meal boxes and deliver them to our neighbours at Yue Wan Estate, Chai Wan, as well as for the More Good Foundation’s charity partners, including Justice Centre HK, Refugee Union, Hanuman Charity, and Bethune House.
This is more than just a service day—it’s a chance for children to:
• Understand community food needs
• Learn the impact of service through real work
• Practise empathy and responsibility
• See how small actions can genuinely support others
• Connect with you (their parent!) in a meaningful, purpose-led way
