8:20AM - 4:30PM (Mong Tung Wan days)

Daily enrollment is available
A minimum of 6 kids required for class to run

LOCATION:
The program is held at various locations in Hong Kong and changes daily. Please refer to the weekly schedule and reference the specific days for the activity locations.

For Mong Tung Wan days, the drop off and pick up will be at Central Pier No.5 (To Cheung Chau)

For indoor days held at our sister charity, More Good, located in Chai Wan, participants will need to arrange their own transportation there.

NEW! TRANSPORT
For all other outdoor locations, will provide a private shuttle bus service for pick-ups and drop-offs at the Hong Kong Central Post Office to and from our outdoor activity locations.

COST:
$1,300 per day*
*10% for early bird before 7 May, 2025
5% discount when signing up with a friend from 8 May, 2025 onwards

This program runs a different schedule each week for 4 weeks before returning to explore similar locations and learning outcomes.

Activity:
Little Shedders will spend time on our permaculture farm planting seeds, weeding, and developing an understanding of basic farming tools. They will also do some outdoor cooking to develop their confidence in expression as we work with different ingredients, flavours, and techniques to cook a community lunch.

Activity:
Come explore the different corners of Shek O with us! We'll hike through the village to the headland, where we scramble around the rocky boulders by the blue bridge, followed by some beach time to cool down in the ocean and more!

Activity:
A physically challenging day that starts at the Peak and finishes all the way down at Kotewall Road, visiting iconic landmarks along the way including High West and Pinewood Battery.

Activity:
Experience Hong Kong’s beautiful scenery as we hike through Tai Tam Country park exploring both the natural and built environment. From the century-old historic waterworks structures to the serene natural rock pools.

Activity:
Little Shedders will explore Mong Tung Wan’s nature through a coasteering challenge and revisit our permaculture farm to observe any changes that have occurred over the week, learn about our vermicompost, as well as tending to any regular agricultural maintenance.

Activity:
Little Shedders will spend time tending to our permaculture farm, watering, harvesting, and helping create organic fertilizer as a means to better understand environmental issues. As well as learning about the different farming tools we have on site. We will also spend some time cooling off and scrambling in our nearby stream.

Head up to the New Territories to find a hidden gem nestled in the Pat Sin Leng Country Park for a refreshing day filled with waterfalls and rock pools!

Activity:
Little Shedders will learn about raft building with different knots and lashes to develop their collaborative spirit and goal-oriented behaviour. Followed by a test run of their rafts at our beach on-site.

Little Shedders become chefs for the day as they prepare and cook their own lunch using fresh ingredients and learn about fire building. Also exploring our beach and cooling down in the ocean afterwards.

Little Shedders will continue developing their culinary skills learning different cooking techniques and recipes suitable for outdoor settings. As well as getting active at our permaculture farm - mixing soil, watering crops, weeding, and tending to our vermicompost.

Little Shedders will explore the streams of Mong Tung Wan, scrambling up to discover the biodiversity within these habitats. Additionally, we will explore environmental issues through building a DIY water filter to experiment with the mechanisms and challenges.
