Focus:
In this immersive program, students address food insecurity in Hong Kong by preparing 700 hot meal boxes for the local community. Working within a budget, they collaborate to plan meals, building teamwork and resourcefulness while gaining insight into the challenges of food access.
The program also includes belay rock climbing, which strengthens resilience, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. As students tackle physical and mental challenges, they develop a growth mindset and creativity.

Focus & Community Engagement:
Shedders explore the culinary world, developing essential cooking skills while contributing to the community by preparing components for future meal boxes. They also learn about sustainability through food waste composting with an earthworm farm.

Mini Shedders (3-4)
Little Shedders (5-7)

Sessions take place in both indoor and outdoor settings across various locations on Hong Kong Island.

Our Activities:
Each session begins and ends with a Community Circle, fostering connection and reflection.
Activities fall into five categories:

Sessions are conducted in English, with Mandarin and Cantonese speakers available for understanding and safety.
